Setting the Scene
There are 4 clans of dragons, all of which have existed on the Earth for as long as the earth itself. Each clan is a master of each element - Fire, Ice, Lightning and Air, and live in relative peace over the land.
Lightning Clan and Air Clan are fierce rivals as they both master the skies.
Ice Clan and Fire Clan are relatively friendly, for each keeps to their own territories because they despise their contrasting temperatures, and each fear each other's elements.
Fire Clan
Fire Clan live in a very volcanic area, strewn with mountains over the area. It is very dangerous to all except Fire Clan dragons, for they possess very thick and heavy armoured scales.
They have fiery tempers and are proud creatures as most dragons naturally are.
Their breath is fire and it is extremely deadly as it is their most important wapon to make up in thier lack of speed in flight.
Ice Clan
Ice Clan Dragons live in glacial surroundings, with many lakes and rivers. Snow covers the lower lands around the lakes, though in the slightly higher land there is ice and is treatourous, with many icey caves loittering the high peaks of the mountains.
Ice dragons are swift of flight, though their scales are thin and covered in a protective ice.
Their breath is ice, and can freeze enemies in small quantities, though it is so cold (below -100 celcius) that it usually kills on impact.
Ice dragons are calm creatures and are protective beings. They tend to be cold and unsociable beings towards any outside their clan and have short tempers which makes them vicious enemies.
Air Clan
Air Clan dragons live at the very topmost peaks of mountains at very high altitudes, they therefore rule the most mountainous areas of the dragon territories higher by far than any of teh others. Their land consists of only mountains, just cliffs and the occassional stream.
Air clan dragons are the smallest, most streamlined dragons; they are masters of flight and are swiftest in the air, as would be expected. They have no breath, and their weapon being able to roar at very high frequencies, causing enemies to go deaf for a moment, allowing them to gauge at enemies with their hooked claws. However, their scales are very like fish scales and are quite thin. However, their fleetness in the air usually prevents enemies from attacking their thin skin.
Air Clan dragons are fiercely, fiercely territorial, which lead to their constant battles with Lightning Clan. They are however, witty, spritely personalities and are sociable dragons so they get along with Fire and Ice clans at the Clan Meeting every month.
Lightning Clan
Lightning Clan dragons' territory is on the flattest plains of the land. It is green and open, though with a few trees dotted around. In the centre of teh territory grows a gigantic tree, which is rumoured to hav been there as long as the world came into existance. This tree is the camp of the Lightning Dragons, and the only time they leave their flat lands is when a storm brews, which is consant in this climate of the world.
Their scales are thick and metallic as though made of metal.
Their breath is lightning and is extremely powerful, and their flight is average. However, their strength in teh air is their mastery of the storm - they use the clouds and rain as cover and their lightning breath is deadly. However, they are amateurs in the air without a storm which is their only real weakness.
The Situation
So, I've set the scene and introduced the clans to you. The situation is up to you. You know that Air and Lightning clan are at constant logger-heads. Will Ice and Fire clan develop a hate or love relationship or will a war of all clans break out?
It's up to you.
