Denkou had just left his territory and was flying low in the sky. The strong, cold winds from behind him, which drove him onward, told him a large storm was coming. He didn't care, he was the most skilled of all dragons when it came to flying IN a storm after all... 'the advantage is with me today, perhaps i can teach an AirClan patrol who's boss if I'm lucky enough to find one...'
He noticed a stream and pond below him and he suddenly realized how thirsty he was. Denkou folded his great wings part way and dived down to the water, pulling up in time to land gracefully. He made one quick survey of the land around him and the sky before he finally bent down to drink, hopefully peacefully as he heard thunder crash off in the distance behind him. 'but then again... I'm more likely to meet someone else or no-one because of the storm... id be surprised if i met anyone because of it...' he thought.
He then started to hear the flapping of wings above and behind him and he froze. 'did someone follow me?...or is this just coincidence?' he thought as he slowly picked his head up from the water. Denkou the looked over his left shoulder to find a glimpse of the flapping wings he had heard a moment ago, the lightning making him squint.
