The wind blew past Viento's scales as she threw through the air. Her thoughts seemed to dissolve as she landed near the lake. Finally, some peace. she thought as she sniffed the morning air. She walked over towards the lake and dipped her head in for a drink. She sighed as the cool, crisp water went down her throat. She roared at the sky, a booming roar of happiness. She walked over to a patch of shade, and layed down. Planning the day ahead of her.

Ancalgaon presently was not far from Viento as she landed. He had been bathing in teh sun's warm rays, soaking its delicious heat up. The free lands were not his favourite places because they were not hot enough for a Fire Clan dragon. However, he liked a change of scene when he had a free moment.
He looked up, his red eyes snapping open to watch teh bronze dragon descend nearby and he raised his head out of his front claws slightly the better to see her. She looked relaxed now, but Ancalagon knew that Air Clan's general behaviour was not friendly at teh moment. Their constant battles over the overall rule of teh skies with Lightning Clan were becoming increasingly violent and was starting to effect atnd attack teh other clans. Lightning Clan had already attacked Ancalagon and was on teh brink of declaring war on them himself having had enough of them...
He decided not to deliberately show himself, letting her know that he was not hostile to her unless she attacked him. He himself was lying beside the great lake with his snout inches from teh water. He stood up slowly and bent his head to take a drink of water, hoping to discreetly catch her attention and see what she would do - he did not know yet whether Air Clan were as hostile as Lightning Clan were, and it was worth finding out for his and his clan's sake...

Viento raised her neck. She wasn't alone, someone was here with her. She let out a low growl. She looked over and noticed Ancalgaon. She rose into the air and flew over his head, landing near by. "Ancalgaon..." she growled. She looked over the large dragon. Fighting him was not the smartest idea, but she couldn't run away, showing she and her clan were weak. "Fancy seeing you here, why aren't you at your volcanoes?" she said with a snarl. She clawed the ground impatiently, waiting for an answer.

Ancalagon watched her approach warily, though he held his head high and proud, showing he was no coward. His red eyes always on her, he saw what he had predicted - she wasn't the friendliest dragon around these days...
Ancalagon inclined his head respectfully, saying "Greetings Viento. I believe the answer to that is teh same as yours; for a break." he said simply, his deep gutteral voice calm and holding no threat just yet.
He was not foolish enough to deliberately declare hostilities for he did not want war to descend on his clan at the moment, though Fire Clan had noticed the bad atmosphere around Lightning Clan and Air Clan and had started to re-arm if you like in case of war; training become more vigorous than before in Fire clan which was something considering their Clan's training was the toughest of all the Clan's, and they were a formidable foe in battle, though Air Clan's speed would be hard to target...
These thoughts raced through Ancalagon's mind as he readied himself for a hostile response of some sort...

Viento snorted. "So, Fire clan doing well?" Viento asked, looking around the lake. "Any going ons?" Viento knew Ancalagon wasn't That foolish, but she might as well try. She figured he wouldn't intentionaly start a battle with Air Clan.
"New fighters training I presume." she said padding to the lake, but keeping her eyes on Ancalagon. She bent down and swallowed a mouth full of water, trying to show she could cope under pressure. Viento looked up at the sun, admiring the blue sky, then she shook her head and looked back at Ancalagon. "And most important, how are you holding up?"
