The warmth of the volcano was always comforting, and Sorcera basked in it with pleasure. Closing her blue eyes she let the warmth chase the cold out of her that she obtained when she flew high up in the clouds. She loved to fly...but skies above she hated the cold!

It was so hot in the Fire Clan camp that the air shimmered. Perfect temperatures for a fire dragon such as she. Sighing pleasantly, she stretched out on the rock she lay on, and rested her head upon her forelegs. This was the life.

Ancalagon emerged from his cave, yawning widely, drinking in the sweet smell of smoke from the volcano. His red eyes swept the camp vaguely as he stepped over the hot rock casually, knowing that there was no danger to be found here; Lightning Clan and Air clan were too busy fighting each other to bother them, and Ice Clan couldn't stand the heat he knew.

He inclined his head politely to each dragon whose eye he caught, then he caught Sorcera's eye and decided to join her. He rarely had spare time to spend with his Clan, and he thought it important to commune equally with each member of it.
"Greetings Sorcera. What a splendid day for a hunt... Would you join me?" he inquired, his deep rasping voice low and comforting.

Looking up at her leader, Sorcera smiled. Of course she would go hunting. She could use some food in her stomach. Then again, when didn't she. "I will gladly join you." she answered, rising to her feet.

She was often hunting around the lands, bringing in game. It was a never-aging game to the female. The patrols were out and about, and Sorcera had nothing better to do. Let the games begin. Stretching her wings, she awaited for her leader to take the lead.

Ancalagon smiled and launched himslef into the air with teh speed of a dragon not known to Fire Clan before, and he rose higher into the air, his wings flapping to begin with to get teh speed going, but once an breeze acught his wings they barely needed to move. He did not fly too high however, and flew over the barron mountainous lands of Fire Clan, heat waves striping teh land, just how Ancalagon liked it.

He flew higher to pass over a mountain, but spotted a deer grazing on the higher, slightly lusher lands of the mountains (as the lower lands were too hot for most life except dragons) and he swooped down onto it, and before it knew what had hit it, the creature was speared on Ancalagon's two front claws, like a chip on a fork, and he smashed into the ground with it, killing it instantly.
His kill had been a lucky one, and no deer around were seen in teh open - Sorcera woyuld have to search for her prey. He elt slightly guilty at this thought; how selfish. He stood up and called to Sorcera "Sorcera, have my kill. I shall hunt for another if you wish" he said in his deep gutteral tones, his blood-red eyes upon Sorcera's form flying high above him. He had no problem if she anted to catch her own deer, though did not want to appear impolite.
